We collect the following types of information when you use the Evoshred app:

• Account information: name and email address used to create your account
• Body metrics: height, weight, age, gender, and goal weight
• Health & activity data: daily water intake, sleep hours, stretching, mood, and food compliance logs
• Progress photos: before, progress, and after images you choose to upload
• Nutrition data: meals logged, macros tracked, and meal preferences
• Community content: posts, comments, and meal recipes you share publicly within the app
• Usage data: how you interact with the app (pages visited, features used)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and personalise your nutrition and transformation plan
• Track your progress and display it back to you
• Send you weekly check-in reminders and plan update notifications
• Display community content within the Evoshred feed
• Improve the app experience based on usage patterns

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Information you post to the community feed (posts, shared meals, display name) is visible to other Evoshred users. Your body metrics, progress photos, and health logs are private and visible only to you and Evoshred administrators.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Base44's platform infrastructure, which applies access controls and security best practices to protect your information. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.

6. Progress Photos

Progress photos you upload are stored privately and are only accessible to you. They are never shared publicly or used for any purpose other than displaying them back to you within the app. You can delete your photos at any time from the Progress page.

7. Push Notifications & Emails

We may send you email notifications for weekly check-in reminders and nutrition plan updates. You can manage notification preferences in the Settings section of the app.

8. Your Rights (NZ Privacy Act 2020)

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

9. Children's Privacy

Evoshred is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
